    Allignment issue with objects

Can someone tell me what i am doing wrong with the properties? see screenshots. im trying to get the text bars on top to fill the gaps when its maximized, but it does not. Unlike VB Forms, this is easy to setup without issues. Any advice where I am going wrong?

I am not a complete nooby with VB.Net but its my first time trying WPF in a project. so i am just trying to understand some of the basics

What is the "text bar"? Have you set the horizontal alignment to Stretch? What is the margin and width of that control?
