    Milk Analyzer

    Hi

Has anyone worked with Sibagropribor Milk Analyzer (Laktan 1-4" model 240) . It displays FAT & SNF of the milk . I want to get these values on my pc using RS232

    Thanks

    on there site it says
Connect the analyzer and the personal computer through a serial port COM 1 or COM 2 with the help of the cable supplied in the set with the analyzer. Both devices should be turned off when connection is done. After that you can turn analyzer and computer on.
Start program Laktan220U.exe (Start->Programs->Laktan220U-> Laktan220U). Choose the language of messages Russian or English from the menu “Language”. Click “Device”, and then choose “Selection of port”, set up a port, which was used for connection

    Hi

If it is showing something in other softwares , it should work here also . Cable cannot be the issue.

    Thanks

    showing something in other softwares.
Well you could get "something" and "some rubbish" with VB too.
The question is however: why getting rubbish and not data as it should be?

And why should the cable not be the isue?
