    Setup problem

I developed an application on a computer and, after creating a distribution package, I tried to install it on a different computer. At a specific stage I got this warning message:

    Name: no_way.PNG
Views: 571
Size: 9.2 KB

The only difference in the (XP) version is that the original computer has SP3 while I'm trying to install on a computer with SP2.

Should I go ahead with the installation? I'm wary about overwriting some files so then I might run into trouble...

Well, you could perform a system restore (or what the equal is on xp) just in-case but I don't thing it would be a problem.

Thread moved to the 'Application Deployment' forum, which is where questions about installing/distributing your software belong

I thought this would restore system settings but not files...

User files but I think the service packs are part of the system so it should work.
