    Bad grammar

Yeah, but I hate crowds as well. I seldom go to concerts and never to sports events.

huh.... must be something about us technical types...

While I don't hate parties... I find that I tend to dislike being in large groups. I can't stand to be in crowds of most kinds. That's not to say I don't go out or go to things... I still enjoy getting out in certain environments where crowds don't bother me (sporting events, concerts, things like that)... but trips to places like WalMart, Target, the grocer's, or even restaurants and places where you would expect a fair amount of people, make me highly uncomfortable. Even amusement parks. Go figure. I even used to work at one. An it's gotten worse over the years too. Then again, as much as I love the city, I much rather prefer to be out in the country.

It depends on what you consider by party. If it's gathering of friends or normal pub-like atmosphere, that's fine by me. What I don't like is clubs where people are packed like sardines and where it takes me 15 minutes to push through the crowd just to get to the bathroom. Standing in large crowds is the main part I hate. Even at seated concerts you still need a lot of time going inch by inch to get in and out. Did that last bit sound dirty?

I don't like Facebook or Twitter. I'm being quite serious about that. I only have a Facebook account so that my partner can send herself gifts on Farmville and I don't have a Twitter account. The only tweets I read are the occasional one that I see on the EspnCricInfo.com site. I'm quite prepared to miss the occasional gem to avoid the avalanche of dross.

I don't like LOUD parties, but that's because my hearing isn't all that good to begin with, and my voice doesn't rise. Therefore, when it is loud, I can't hear much of anything and I can't speak to anybody without losing my voice in seconds.

I have no problem with socializing, its just that I am not comfortable mingling with lots of people who are not really close to me. Though it is a different thing if I am with my closest friends.

I've got a twitter but I just registered just for sake of registering and I don't remember what my account is anymore. Well, about facebook, there are instances where it has been valuable to me like I really registered to it just to be able to gather all my batchmates and put them all in a group, as such we were able to hold a reunion just by communicating with facebook.

Does that mean you like QUIET parties?

The whole thing is a lesser of my issues, but what are you talking about? Is there some special meaning for a quiet party of which I am unaware?

Bizarre, but pretty much my reason for not liking loud parties, though. They started that because they couldn't talk at a bar.

You can always text each other if you have a mobile phone while just admiring the view and nodding at the same time - and you get her number for later!!!!
The smoke is the thing that annoys me, what is it with everyone smoking even though they are reminded again and again how painful it is going to be when they die of gangrene or one of any number of cancers??!!

    Not gangrene, I wouldn't think.

Considering how addictive nicotine is, the best way to stop smoking is generally to not start in the first place.

Gangrene is often caused by blocked blood vessels as a result of tobacco smoking.

Gangrene is a result of vascular disease which can also effect the heart, so I am not so sure about that!

Actually, smoking in a nightclub is a good thing! Since the law against smoking indoors in public areas was set in motion, all nightclubs smell like sweat and fart! I rather smell the smoke....

For me, what I hate is,
    1. Powercut (here, daily we have 1.5 hours power cut. 1 hr during day time and 30mins at night) :P
    2. Network failures. I am using a Cable Broadband connection. And people here (road department and water authority) put their hands together to dig the road, pulling out these lines more often, leaving me isolated from the outer world (internet fails some times :P )
    3. Guests! They often come, have to show them our hospitality, and they will be taking away most of my time. :P
    4. People who message me asking to like their profile pic in Facebook.

Why do you smoke if you are not addicted to the nicotine???
All men have an inherent right to life, the right to self determination including freedom from forced or compulsory labour, a right to hold opinions and the freedom of expression, and the right to a fair trial and freedom from torture. Be aware that these rights are universal and inalienable (cannot be given, taken or otherwise transferred or removed) although you do risk losing the aforementioned rights should you fail to uphold them e.g Charles Taylor; United Nations sources: http://www.un.org/en/documents/udhr/, http://www.ohchr.org/EN/Professional...ages/CCPR.aspx. Also Charles I was beheaded on the 30th of January of 1649 for trying to replace parliamentary democracy with an absolute monarchy, the same should happen to Dr Phil and Stephen Fry; source: http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.p...ute-Monarchism.

You're right! Many nations have now started to introduce anti smoking legislation even for bars and clubs, see -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_smoking_bans

Which means only one thing -> time to P-A-R-T-Y!!!!!
