    The Nintoaster Project

Ok you electronics gurus, since most of yall decided to share your projects, I decided I should share mine as well. Only difference is that this project was a royal pain, and is in near completion. Its been in the works for months but I am building...a Nintoaster, which consists of the good ol' 8 bit Nintendo Entertainment System inside a toaster! However it needs some extra things. The front of the toaster I have before I tore its guts out has 4 buttons and a knob. Im gonna make each of the 4 buttons change the color of the LED lights, and the knob to change how bright it is. The lever of the Nintoaster will turn the NES on. And I havent built it yet, but one of the slots on top will have a reset button as well as controller ports. Each color of the LEDs will consists of 4 LED bulbs, having a total of 16 bulbs by the time I get done. But at the moment I only have 4 LEDs with the color red. And believe it or not, it actually works! Heres some photos of my Nintoaster:

Nice! I have looked at Nintoaster projects in the past. Are you finding that it will be hard to fit everything into the toaster?

This Black&Decker Toaster was a pain to open and take apart, but I find it to have a lot of space to work with.

There are 4 pins on bottom, but there are only 2 connections. Each side is connected.

In the picture below, the two pins in the green are always connected, same with Blue. When the button is pressed then the circuit is closed.

But you don't need to wire all of em I don't think. My guess is there must be 2 inputs and outputs. I even saw this off Google Images searching for a wiring diagram:

Exactly. The bottom one doesnt work because the two bottom pins are always connected.

You need one top connection and one bottom connection, at least.
