I thought I was going insane. Good thing you started this thread. I had just showed up, saw that a thread I was active in had a new reply, and clicked on it. As I did, I noticed that the most recent post was from somebody named jennera, but when the post opened...I was the last person to reply. I then went back to the list of threads...and the thread was way down the list, not up near the top. For a moment, it was the Twilight Zone. Then this thread showed up and I realized that my timing was perfect. I opened VBF just before JA cleaned things up, then clicked on that thread just after he had done so.
I was actually going to start a thread somewhere about this odd behavior, and now I understand it.

C++ programmers will dismiss you as a cretinous simpleton for your inability to keep track of pointers chained 6 levels deep and Java programmers will pillory you for buying into the evils of Microsoft. Meanwhile C# programmers will get paid just a little bit more than you for writing exactly the same code and VB6 programmers will continue to whitter on about "footprints". - FunkyDexter

OK, since it was important to get our attention quickly (via this thread, the 8 reported posts, and a personal PM to me you certainly got my attention) this was probably posted in the correct place but since you guys insist on keeping it alive: Moved to the Forum Feedback.![]()

It's been quite a while since I can remember a spammer posting a lot of porn on one of our forums. Craziness for sure.
Those posts and the pictures have been physically deleted from the forum database.
As suggested, please use the report post iconswhen you come across junk that bad. That button notifies many people, so it the best, quickest way to get people's attention. If you say "PORN" in the message it asks for, that helps too.

I am a bit curious about this. Was there any reason to believe that this wasn't just some kind of spam bot? Was it a real person? If it was, I'd certainly be curious as to what was going through their head (unless it was just the wind).

i noticed it first in the thread i was replying to. after that while trying to report it, i noticed the same 'soon to be not' member had posted in several of the top listed threads + the images were the same 2 i first noticed.
maybe they meant to post in the gynaecology forum![]()

No it wasn't a bot. Two days before this happened the same person, using another user name, tried to post the same two images in his (I assume it was a he and not a she) first post. However the first two posts a newly registered user makes (regardless if it's a new thread or an answer to a question) are moderated, IOW they are not visible until one of us moderators accepts them. So after his initial try a couple of days earlier which resulted in a post that was never published and an immediate ban, he obviously tried again. This time, with a new user name, he posted what appeared to be valid questions (or answers) and we (one of us moderators) accepted them. He then went back and edited the post with these two images (the same two images in each post).

Some people could be the subject of an entire dissertation. That's a really strange behavior for anybody.
