    @Sid: Go for D5100. From the key features mentioned, it seems to be better. Also, the pixel count is better than D90. And the price is also cheaper as compared to D90. That's what I can say from my initial investigation on Nikon's product page.



    I am not sure about the rest of the things. But have a look at the comparison in Flipkart: Compare D5100 and D90

    D5100 seems to be standing one step ahead in that comparison too.
