crystal reports on a different computer

Good morning everyone,

I have created some crystal reports but my issue is I need to install the .exe file on different computers for users to use reports. I dont know how to do this, can anyone tell me how i can get this done. Someone told me that i might need to publish my reports. Thank you.

What did you use to create the exe?

i used visual studio 2010

You have to Publish the project. Go the the project properties page, select the publish tab, under prerequisites mark the Crystal report files, then publish. This will create a setup file, you must run this on the target pc. You can also publish from the Build menu.

when you mean to choose the crystal reports files you mean what we using in references.

hi, I manage to open the crystal reports main menu i have created but when i continue in opening my other tabs and i get the following error "crystal reports windows forms viewer - Load Report Failed" Can you help me out. Thank you.
