I feel pretty bad, because a guy on youtube posted a very ignorant post. Something along the lines of:

yes, I laugh at pathetic monkeys who chose not to evolve past stone age while I agreed to evolve and embrace technology. My computer's GPU can render more bananas in a second than all Africans eat in a century

So I replied with:

what do y'all think? I personally thought it was hilarious, but after a little while thinking about it, I thought holy crap, has programming really turned me to making vb.net jokes?!

well you need to attach more to a social life or group of people or whatever cause that makes you a geek

It's entirely possible to be a geek and funny. Though we do like our jokes to be logically decomposable to the basic elements of humour and, as such, expressable in terms of cod.
