Any way to extract incomplete 001 files?

I was given some 001 files (001 to 004) and they want to extract the content but they are missing the 003 file of the complete set.Is there a way to extract what is already there? These are some hardware manuals and they are in either doc or PDF format but they told me that they are ziped first.I have joined the first 2 files but i am not able to open it with whatever extraction software i have in the computer(rar,zip,7z).Also used that good ol' pkzipfix but didn't make it, tried to ISO them end extract in raw format but still will not open. Any ideas?
    Thanks.

As I know its impossible ...
Because each 00x files has a part of the file so I dont think it would be possible ...

There are programs that claim to join the incomplete package together in-order for you to retrieve the data. However, as xsamedx suggests you would be missing one whole section of data and all those programs can really do is guess at what the value of the data might be. So, you might as well, just ask the person whom gave you the file if they can give you the full set of file or tell you where they got them.

What is the actual contents of the file once they are joined? If it is a video file (.avi, .mp4...), then you can salvage the parts that you have by creating fake files for the missing parts. For example, if the file set is supposed to contain (.001, .002, .003, .004, .005) but all you have is just (.001, .003, .004, .005) and you're missing .002 file. In this case, you can copy the .003 and rename it to .002 to make the file set complete. After the file is joined, when watching it, you will see a section of the vide0 repeating twice... This is not the optimal solution but at least it helps you to salvage what you have. Again, this only works with some video file format.
BTW, for joining those files, I found FFSJ.exe is the best. And it's free too.

Actually they are zip files that contain .doc and .pdf files as i've been told. They gave them to me exactly because they are missing some parts and they cannot salvage them, else i think they wouldn't have given them to me at all.
stanav i'll try your solution.I'm not sure if it ends with .005 or it has also .006 but i'll make files up to .010 and see what will happen.
Edit, not working. The final file is actually 7z not winzip but will not open anyhow.
