    What's the objective?

If you search this forum (general developer) on certifications, you will probably find several threads on the topic. Worse, you will probably find that people are quite unenthusiastic about them. Not necessarily negative, mind you, but not enthusiastic. That makes me think that they aren't worth the money for most people.

Not sure if the links in post #16 here would be useful or not. I failed the exams when I attempted them luckily when I did them they were free.

It used to be that certifications meant you knew what you were doing. That's when they actually meant something. Now, with all the boot camps out there, with their get cert'd in a week promises... it's watered down the value, to being just about the same as the paper they are printed on. When I look at CVs these days, I look at their work progression and history... I might look at their education background, but that rarely plays into any decisions I make about the candidate. But then we also don't hire entry level. We're jr level at a minimum.
