    Restricting pen drive use

    Hi all,

    I want to restrict the use of pen drives in my system. But i am not sure of the in built service/program to use for doing the same. Please inform.

    I don't know exactly where, but there's a setting in the registry which is used to block access to the USB devices. In one of my earlier organizations machines were configured to disallow use of USB devices, and once when I needed to disable it, I had searched for it (and found it). However I don't remember which key.

    That assumes that Tommy is using Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, or Windows 2000

    The guide from Honeybee's link should also work on Vista and Win7 even they are not listed. Try it yourself and you'll see
