    Professionalize/finalize my project

I've got a project I've been working on for over 5 years now off and on, coding is not a primary function and I'm not a professional programmer so it's never finished.

What is the best way I can go about hiring someone to re-code to standards and clean up what I'm sure will look like a disaster to a professional coder? I also have to meet certain security and application standards with the code and my skill level and time do not allow for me to get it done to the level needed. This is a working project used daily, has an occasional bug but is pretty stable. Willing to pay but, not sure what the best service to use would be or exactly how to go about it.

The project is a network database type management program that I code in vb.net 2010/2008, infragistics controls, wodTelnetDlx.ocx for ssh connections, Ionic.Zip.Reduced.dll, LogicNP Cryptoobfuscator, Crypto Licensing 2011 version, and a sql compact .sdf database. All my controls are licensed so whatever service I use has also to have the licensed controls right?

I've used vworker before (used to be rentacoder.com) for some issues but not sure that's the best service for the level of effort this may take.

Looking for ideas to help me get this project wrapped up and finalized correctly or at least to a higher standard than what I currently have.

    Thank you for any suggestions/ideas.

This should be in the Projects Requests section (I'll ask a mod to move it) ... I was going to suggest rentacoder (RAC) or what ever they're called this year, but it looks like you've already done that. There may be others, but I'm not sure what. You can get good quality from RAC, if you're careful. Last time I looked, they even had an option where prospective coders would have to submit a "sample" component so you can see what you're getting, then to the winner goes the main project. You're biggest block maybe the components you mentioned. Do you have enough/proper licenses to get them into the hands of your developer if needed? or is it your expectation that the coder will already have them? OR should be able to get them?
