    use vb6 to connect to an ip-phone and dial a number

    Hello my friends

    I would like to create a vb-application that connects to an ip-phone and
    that can dial a number on that phone.

    Hi,

    I need to do the same althoug Im using VB2010. I have an IP Phone that has a CAT5 cable in the back of it. How can I get the phone to call out or even get the caller ID from it? Thinking I may need some more hardware??

    What is an ip-phone

    Its a phone that uses the internet to make calls.
    Like Skype etc..
