Resolved [RESOLVED] [Excel 2007] Error message for no reason

    Hi,
I am getting an error message to this line: Dim PT As PivotTable

    and the error message is:
    Compile error:
A module is not a valid type.

The problem I am facing is that I have run this macro hundreds of times without getting this error message and since yesterday I have been stuck at this point.

Any input why all of a sudden I have started getting this error message?

    Thanks,

Reading the error message I would bet you have created a module named "PivotTable"!

    Thanks, Opus

Yes, that was the problem. I copied this part of my macro to another module and like you identified the error - named it "Pivot Table"
