Checking colour contrast for your website
Many people ignore the problems associated with colour contrast. If you don't know how people will see your website, then you don't know if they are missing out on useful content.
The W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) provides a set of guidelines for ensuring that your website is visible to all people (colourblind or otherwise).
