I had no issues what so ever. What are the problems you experience?

Re: Install VB6 on Windows 7
As this is not a coding question regarding how to use VB6 programming I am moving this thread to General Developer.

Re: Install VB6 on Windows 7
Hello.
I had no problems during installation. But some problems appeared later:
1) In Project > Components > Controls Tab was impossible include "Microsoft Windows Common Contrlols 6.0 (mscomctl.ocx).
Error message: 0x8002801C - "The file mscomctl.ocx was not registerable as an ActiveX Component"
2) In Project > References, well, I can't open this window.
Solution: I don't know. Installed on Windows XP only.
If someone knows how to solve these problems, please post a solution.
Thanks.

If you do a search on the forum using keywords such as the title of this thread you should find a lot of threads about the same issue and how those people fixed it.
when you quote a post could you please do it via the "Reply With Quote" button or if it multiple post click the "''+" button then "Reply With Quote" button.
If this thread is finished with please mark it "Resolved" by selecting "Mark thread resolved" from the "Thread tools" drop-down menu.

Or you could simply post your questions, kind of what support forums are about don't you think?
If it's a search and find situation then the member might as well hit google and find a tutorial instead of posting.
