-- Android Project -- Need some ideas [[--URGENT--]]
Hi guys
A friend of mine is doing an academic project in Android. But she hasn't decided what the project should be. She's an absolute beginner(me too ) in Android dev. So we both are looking for some project ideas. A simple project is what we are aiming at.
I think, a game in Android is more difficult than an app. Isn't it ?
If you have some project ideas, please feel free to share it here.
Thank you.

Create your own version of a scheduler that will connect to your university's website and download your time-table and display alerts for classes etc.
Everything that has a computer in will fail. Everything in your life, from a watch to a car to, you know, a radio, to an iPhone, it will fail if it has a computer in it. They should kill the people who made those things.- 'Woz'

This thread is probably better off in the Mobile Dev forum. I'll ask the mods.

Because (a.) that forum is .Net-centric, which was limiting even when Windows Mobile was still alive, and (b.) Phone 7 killed almost all interest in Microsoft mobile platforms by users and many former developers.
Probably all we are left with is General Developer or here.
