Nor does it render properly...
I've got this markup - I want the two textarea's side by side - which happens naturally without the LEFTHALF and RIGHTHALF div's - but I want the button to be in the next TAB-ORDER after the LEFT-side textarea - so I thought a DIV would force that...
Look at the SPAN markup in the image from FIREBUG below - how did it get so disconnected??
Code:
<div class="acs-edit-right">
<div class="acs-div-p">
<div class="acs-edit-lefthalf>
<span class="acs-span-heading">Monthly Note</span>
<br />
<textarea class="awc-Note acs-edit-xlarge-text-box"></textarea>
<br />
<button type="button" class="acs-savenext-button" title="Save Note and Jump to Next Note">Save Note and Jump to Next Note</button>
</div>
<div class="acs-edit-righthalf>
<span class="acs-span-heading">Last Month Note</span>
<br />
<textarea class="awc-LastNote acs-edit-xlarge-text-box" readonly="readonly"></textarea>
</div>
</div>
</div>
and this is the css
Code:
.acs-edit-lefthalf
{ float: left;
width: 50%
}
.acs-edit-lefthalf .acs-div-p
{ border-style: solid;
border-color: Blue;
border-width: 1px;
margin: 0px 5px 5px 5px;
padding: 5px;
}
.acs-edit-righthalf
{ float: left;
width: 50%
}
.acs-edit-righthalf .acs-div-p
{ border-style: solid;
border-color: Blue;
border-width: 1px;
margin: 0px 5px 5px 5px;
padding: 5px;
}
