    Runtime Error '-21747217842 (80040e4e)'-???

    I am geting this Run-time error '-2147217841(80040e4e)': Operation was
    canceled.

    After compiling the program to package and development wizard and intalled it to the other pc with xp os i always geting this error. the backend i used is microsoft access defined connection in ODBC-DNS.

    If you're using ODBC then how do you create it on the user's machine?
    Also, why now using ADO/OLEDB instead - it so simple and maintenance free.

    My problem is the programmed was already compiled that's why I dont have hint were the error occured. The program has no error when i run it to my pc.

    If you have your subs and functions error trapped (and I suspect they aren't), you could both prevent a run time error as well as write your errors out to a log file which you could check. This will at least pinpoint where in your program the error is occuring, although you still won't know on what line.

    This would be cause on a particular field that could should be given as numbers but that data quantity (No. of digits of that will be very much), You should change the data field to character and try it.
