    Re: Phone Express

The link seems just to go to VB Express so I presume you want to add the phone development tools to the installation?

If you want to use VB to develop on the phone, you need 2010 Professional installed, and then install the VB Phone tools. But you can install the Phone 7 tools in C# for free - more details on the app hub - http://create.msdn.com/en-us/resources/downloads

The link goes to Visual Studio Express, where there is a link to Windows Phone Developer Tools, which to me implies there is a version for express. I do see that the others end with "... Express" and Phone does not.

    Re: Phone Express

    Hi,
as I said - for phone tools, the C# edition is free, but I don't think it would integerate with Visual Basic Express 2010. If you want to use VB to develop for phone, it is only available as an add on to VS2010 Pro as far as I am aware.

I would think that the phone tools would install happily along with Visual Basic Express 2010
