Resolved [RESOLVED] Finding out which font style text is typed in

    Hi,

Does anyone know of a program or website which can display given text in all different fonts after just one click? My grandma has asked me to find out what font a friend or hers has used to create some gift cards.

Now, I know I can scan the card into the system via the scanner and retrieve the font via OCR. However, I can't be bothered do that since I would probably have unplug the scanner from my dad's computer first.

So does anyone know if there is a website or free software available that can display the given text in all the font on a system?

    Thanks,

    Nightwalker

Thanks! Although, it looks like I need to download the font and install it which leads me back to Microsoft Word which is what I have already tried. However, it would take ages try each individual font.

It gives samples for each font, but you don't have the choice of what is printed with the font...

I don't think I've ran across anything like that before. I'll keep my eye out.

I need something where I can enter the text and compare the result. I have the text I want to check I just need the ability to check that text again each font.

This is about the best info I could find:
    http://www.webdesignerdepot.com/2008...entify-a-font/

My other searches lead to similar results.

We managed to find which font it was using identifont and answering a number of questions about the text in question.
