Thanks. We actually had limited success with this before due to the country we are dealing with. I'll raise this to our legal group again and see if I can get the full court press again.

so besides stealing the posts themselves, they are also promoting piracy from other organizations.

I thought ads were usually based off of the users browser history? by chance you have not been looking for cracked software from 2006?

Nope. I've had no need to. Any software I need, I either have legal license to, or can generaly get a legal license to without much issue.

In this case, the same people stealing content are likely cracking software or phishing for data.....

    Re: Post stealing

I figured as much, but over time I've learned that not eveyrone that reads a thread often gets the 'joke' or 'fun' aspects of what is being said. I wouldn't want those people lead astray....

    Re: Post stealing

What I was trying to say is... It sure is funny "Websites" talking about copyrights when they themselves are stealing post from others "All rights reserved." for what? Stealing posts from other websites...?

Nah that email won't help. I am sure the legal team must have sent them several emails.

It's like creating an application from a pirated software and then trying to copyright it
