I don't know what you are talking about. I'm not a native english speaker, that's probably why it's escaping me.

Re: Important: Fold or scrunch?
I AM a native English speaker and I still don't get it... To me "fold" is something you do in poker. Scrunch is something women put in their hair for pony tails.... so I don't see what one has to do with the other.

Re: Important: Fold or scrunch?
I guess, A GUESS, OP is talking about toilet paper. Like how do you use them, by folding or scrunching them before using.
EDIT: I am not a native English speaker.

I'm a native American speaker, and I absolutely dread that you have gotten this correct. I guess we need a bit of clarification. I was actually thinking this might have to do with clothes, but your assumption seems more likely.

I actually searched before posting here. So I cannot take the credit for guessing, I guess.

Just wondering how many fold vs scrunch
Why are you wondering ? are you so earth shatteringly board that this goes for entertainment in your office or have you actually had a real conversation about how you go about wiping your arse ?

Importance is subjective. Maybe OP was in the toilet at the moment he created the poll and needed results quickly.

Re: Fold or scrunch (toilet paper)?
I don't think any self respecting programmer is going to answer 'scrunch'. Our minds are wired to do everything neatly and efficiently. I'm sure if you've asked this on an art-related forum the results would probably be opposite. It's professional deformation. I walk into a bar and immediately find myself thinking how the tables could be rearranged so more could fit in. I catch myself with thoughts like that all the time. I think it's enough to say that in our household I load the dishwasher. I don't like anyone else doing it. They never organize the dishes efficiently to fit as much as possible in.
EDIT: and don't get me started on glasses. I always fill them to the brim. Screw that 'fill to here' line. If it was meant to be filled to there it would be that high. If it gets spilled, it the user's fault.

You are probably using toilettpaper on both sides,.. if wasn't meant to be used both sides it wouldn't have a backside!

Just create a Mobius strip prior to use, and then you will have no problem with that.
EDIT: By the way, 'scrunch' could also be called 'origami-style'. After all, wouldn't you expect a bird to be more effective? Not a real bird, mind you, as they tend to resist, but an origami bird?

Wouldn't 'origami-style' be folding though not scrunching?

Maybe folding is just a very precise form of scrunching.

The French and British aristocracy supposedly used to use a swan's neck. This is probably apocryphal though.

They didn't eat the swan afterwards, did they?

Re: Fold or scrunch (toilet paper)?
That HAS to be apocryphal. There aren't enough swans in the world. On the other hand, there may be some people on here old enough to remember the use of corn cobs.
