Thread moved to 'Database Development' forum (the 'VB6' forum is only meant for questions which don't fit in more specific forums)
What do you mean by "not working"? (eg: code, error messages, etc)
Does your hosting company (db4free) allow remote connections to databases?

probably something wrong server side not client side. Contact your hosts.
Experience with .Net:
Open:"Ooo, this is pretty"
Few minutes later:"Wow lots of useful Controls"
After an hour or so:"Hmm... seem to be doing very little programming here"
Some time later:"WHAT HAVE THEY DONE WITH MY CONTROL ARRAYS?!?!?!"
vb6:Ahh...

If you can't get access with a programming it will tell you there's a problem with your connection string. If there's no such error that it's always server side.
For future reference, try logging the status code the server sends out with your program. That will tell you more or less all you need to know.
