A WebBrowser i made - GT WebBrowser
I have started to develop a WebBrowser called "GT WebBrowser" and i would like to share it with other people to get their opinions and recommendations.
I will now upload the pre-alpha version of the browser. In the 1st version i am going to put the following:
Form and Controls resize
Zoom event
Help file (maybe)
URL Combobox dropdown when u write and showing items that match the entered (i need help here)
and fix some bugs for popups
in the 2nd version i am planning to add themes and plugins
I will soon post a link for the pre-alpha version

Good...
But I think your thread doesn't belong here. Because this section is for asking questions ! I'll ask a mod to move it to the appropriate section (I think it will be CodeBank, if you upload the source code) ....
If my post was helpful to you, then express your gratitude using Rate this Post.
And if your problem is SOLVED, then please Mark the Thread as RESOLVED (see it in action - video)

Well, i actually need some help. I need help with the combobox and the zoom. I want to make it dropdown when sb writes on it and display sites that match (like IE and firefox) and make it have the ability to zoom. I will post a link when i upload it somewhere.

Re: A WebBrowser i made - GT WebBrowser
So... basically you put an IE6 control on a VB6 form?
Software I use and highly recommend: Opera, Miranda IM, Peerblock, Winamp, Unlocker Assistant, JoyToKey, Virtual CloneDrive, Secunia PSI, ExplorerXP, GOM Player, Real Alternative, Quicktime Alternative,Sumatra PDF, and non-freeware: Photoshop and VB6().
My codebank: AllRGB, Rounded Rectangle(math), Binary Server, Buddy Paint, LoadPictureGDI+, System GUID/Volume Serial, HexToAsc, List all processes and their paths, quasiString matching
Strings(search, extraction, retrieval etc): Retrieve BBCode Link from HTML, RemoveBetween ()'s, strFindBetween(str1,str2), Insert text in HTML, HTML - GetSpanByID

Actually yes, it's a webbrowser which uses a IE8 webbrowser control, but it is a bit different in design and easier to use.

Re: A WebBrowser i made - GT WebBrowser
I have removed your link to protect our members, as it was just an executable file - and we have no way of knowing what the executable actually does (which could include something accidentally malicious, such as a virus that is on your computer).
In addition to the safety issue, just seeing an executable is useless for us - the code files make much more sense, as we can not only run it (and compile it if we want), but we can also make changes in order to help you.

That is blatantly the same as before (just more awkward for people to get to the download), and it is therefore unacceptable that you posted the link.
