Subnet Planner (SNP) was originally written in the late 90's using MS Excel VBA to help me with planning IPv4 subnets. It has changed quite a bit over the years, no longer written in MS Excel VBA.
There were / are several tools that help with changing the CIDR, but I have not found a tool like SNP.
What I wanted was something that would allow me to specify a network that I wanted to subnet i.e. 192.168.42.1 /24, and then a list based on size of network and quantity of networks.
An example would be:
give me 2 networks with 12 hosts
give me 1 network with 28 hosts
The following link requires a user / password (believe me it was not my first choice). It has the pictures / zip file, so I did not include them here.
