vb6 compatibility with windows 7
Can I continue to develop under VB6 and have my programs execute directly using windows 7. Must I switch to VB.NET? I have a very large body of older code to support.
Thanks.

Re: vb6 compatibility with windows 7
Yes, but remember it is not supported.
There are a number of issues involved in getting VB6 and its service packs installed. A few more if you are using 64-bit Windows 7. There is also another set of issues involved in writing and deploying VB6 programs to run properly under Vista or Windows 7.
Most of these issues have already been discussed here, covered in FAQs, etc. A search might turn up a number of useful items and save you asking questions you haven't even thought of yet.

It works with windows 7, but i noticed that some of my programs don't run the same. For example, the code i used to keep form on top doesn't work on W7, and the code I used to disable the task manager doesn't work on W7.
