add menu item in microsoft word
is it possible to add an item to the microsoft word's menu using vb6, somewhere, i guess in the file or edit menu, or maybe like a command button or toolbar.
I wanted to add a button to the word document wherein that button will serve as a link to my vb6 program, let's say a typed document, and when that button is pressed, it will automatically save, close, and then the path, word count of that document is automatically saved to the database in the vb6 program.
I have tried the word object and i think this can be done, just needed to be pointed on the right direction. thanks in advance
