    Resolved [RESOLVED] Password Mask Character

    I know how to set the password mask, and I know most programs use *** as the password mask, like all of mine do. But I see most newer software uses ●●●● instead of the asterisk.

    I copied that from the Character Map, but when I enter it into the password mask field, it pastes it as a ? instead.

    I know there are keystrokes like (Alt+0149) that make a smaller version of that black dot and I can use the keystroke to enter that character into the password mask property. But in the textbox, it just enters a space holder instead of the black dots.

    Anybody know how, or if it is possible to use that character instead of *?

    I think it just looks better personally.

    Thanks

    Re: Password Mask Character

    This works for me:
    Code:
    Private Sub Form_Load()
        Me.Text1.FontSize = 12
        Me.Text1.FontName = "Wingdings"
        Me.Text1.PasswordChar = Chr(&H6C)
    End Sub
