Online Texas Holdem Poker - Which site do you prefer?
For those that play Texas Holdem online, I was wondering which poker site you would recommend to play on... or any where its best staying away from!
In the past I have used PaddyPoker, PKR, and FullTilt.

It isn't really played on their site; you need a client, but I have only played online poker on PokerStars.

PokerStars is the most popular and it's where I play as FlopQuads.

I thought FullTilt was the largest now?
Does anyone know of a link which list the current top 10?
Have you all heard of sharkscope.com?

Facebook's app is nice. No client needed, it uses AJAX I think.

Update!!!
Today, playing NL at a local casino with $100 in front of him, my son was dealt 8h7h. Some betting and my son calls. Flop was Th6h and a garbage card. Some more betting. My son says to himself "the nine of hearts would be nice" and he calls. Up pops the 9h on the Turn giving my son a straight flush. He gets bet into by one of the other players and my son smooth calls. River is Kh and remaining player goes all in. My son calls of course and his opponent plops down QhJh for a K-high straight flush which of course beats my son's ten-high straight flush. You would think that that was bad news, but that loss qualified as a bad-beat which gave my son 50% of a $100,000 bad-beat jackpot that had been accumulating at the casino. After taxes he cleared $36,000!!!

Re: Online Texas Holdem Poker - Which site do you prefer?
On the rare occassion when I do play poker, it's on Pokerstars. I generally play tournaments only, and stay away from the ring games.
I used to play ALOT a few years ago, but over time I've become increasingly aware that I'm never going to be lucky enough to make any decent money at it. People are willing to go all in on just about any drawing hand, and what pisses me off is that they get it way too often.
I haven't played the Sunday Million in awhile. I might do so next month.

I believe the other 50% was split among the players at the table which amounted to about $6000 each before taxes. He did of course win the pot

What name do you play under? Have you tried fixed limit games?

I play under the same as my username here.
Don't even get me started on fixed limit, that's even worse. At least with NL, I have some kind of chance to bet an opponent off a weak/drawing hand. In FL, I'm getting called to the river every time (or enough times to seriously irritate me).
The only time you'll catch me at a ring game is if I'm waiting on a tourney to start.

I play mostly in FL Sit&Go games and what you describe is common for buy-ins of about $20 or less. In the higher-priced games you get less of it.

A common one i'm always playing is the double through games. 10 players, top 5 double their money.
Average around 6/7 wins out of 10.
