    [C#+Source] Space Ball

You are going to need the .net framework to play this.

    Imagine rugby, with spaceships!

Shoot the ball off the enemy, grab it and fly!

One thing you need to bear in mind is that when you get 'tackled' you get placed outside the arena and autopilot takes you back in...

Use W,S,A,D to fly and space to shoot

PS: the weird white stars are just visual effects and do nothing
PPS: the project is called dren...

I know you guys hate external links but the whole thing is too big to post here. Its not due to graphics its to do with big DLL files that are very specific.

    An excellent site for learning DirectX7, 8 & 9 (for VB6, C# & VB.net) would be: directx4vb.vbgamer.com --- For my projects and games see: pieper.freehostia.com

I like the concept and it's very well made, but I would make the controls a little less "slippery" if you know what I mean. I would also let the player deccelerate with the down key, rather than having to turn around and accelerate.
    Good job though

I included all the relevant DX stuff in the zip. That's why it was so big..
What kind of errors are you getting?

Ah, you are using Visual studio, someone told me that SharpDevelop was just a clone and underneath it was the same....

    Try compiling it under SharpDevelop...
