    [Excel] Sharing a Workbook

I want to share my workbook with other users so I went to Tools, and the Share Workbook option is greyed out.

Any idea as to why or how to change it?

    Thanks,

is that with all your workbooks or just a specific one
i do my best to test code works before i post it, but sometimes am unable to do so for some reason, and usually say so if this is the case.
Note code snippets posted are just that and do not include error handling that is required in real world applications, but avoid On Error Resume Next

dim all variables as required as often i have done so elsewhere in my code but only posted the relevant part

come back and mark your original post as resolved if your problem is fixed

    Re: [Excel] Sharing a Workbook

just with one workbook. I have full read write access to the server it reside on, and I was able to copy the contents into another file and make it shared, but I couldn't share that file.

I thought it was odd. Then after I copied, pasted, and shared, the personson I need to share with, only had read access the server with a special exception for the file. lol

So Issue not resolved, but too many odd security issues around here to care.
