Thumbs up Look out Boston here comes the Yankees

Wow, a short time ago the Red Sox lead the American League East by 14 games and now today they lead only four games. I guess the curse of the bambino is back.

    Stay tuned . . .

Then don't watch. That will leave more for those of us who appreciate the finer things in life such as love, poetry, and the majesty of a smoothly executed 6-4-3 double play.

A 2-1-2 I could see, but a catcher to catcher to pitcher double play I'm having a problem with.

Although, it would be midly amusing to see the catcher throw the ball to himself.

Although if memory serves me correctly, your Tiger killin' Yankees pulled off a 9-5 double play during one of the 4 games because one of my limp wristed Tigers couldn't get back to third on a routine pop to left.

Re: Look out Boston here comes the Yankees

The extent that I follow baseball is to note that Boston has jumped out to large summer leads, and always ends in second place by about September. We only have a couple of weeks to erase that four game lead, but I have no doubt that the BoSox are up to it.

(but the Yankees will still not make the World Series).
