Re: Keyboard Problem

Sounds like a kind of short fuse, but there might be a quick alternative that jumps to mind.

Go to Control Panel>Date, Time, Language & Regional Options>Regional and Language Options. If the two dropdown boxes there under "Standards and Formats" and "Location" haven't got US English or UK English in them, that might be your problem. Change them if they haven't.

Applies if only running Win XP I'm afraid, otherwise, I dunno mate, sorry.

Jamie, you don't have NumLock on, do you?
The most difficult part of developing a program is understanding the problem.
The second most difficult part is deciding how you're going to solve the problem.
Actually writing the program (translating your solution into some computer language) is the easiest part.

Please indent your code and use tags around it to make it easier to read.

lol. I made that mistake on my laptop once, laptops don't have room for number pads.
