    Angry Using MS Outlook to Send email programmatically

    How to change the "From" address while others view the mail. I used the following code,

    Set olApp = CreateObject("Outlook.Application")
    Set olNS = olApp.GetNamespace("MAPI")
    Set olMessage = olApp.CreateItem(olMailItem)
    lMessage.Importance = olImportanceHigh
    olMessage.To = Trim(txtTo)
    olMessage.cc = Trim(txtCC)
    olMessage.Subject = Trim(txtSubject)
    olMessage.BodyFormat = olFormatHTML
    olMessage.HTMLBody = Trim(lblHTMLBody)
    olMessage.Send

    Is their is any way to display a different label other than my email address while others view my email.

    The From property is read only and cant be changed unless you have a delegate email account and then it will still show as "... On Behalf Of ..."

    Why do you need to change the From property?

    Re: Using MS Outlook to Send email programmatically

    My program sends an automated email to a group everyday 3PM. The program is running from my desktop. I want to hide my email address.

    Create another email account on your Exchange server and send it from there. Give the account a generic name like "Group Manager" etc.
