    NoteMe.com down

Apart from not been able to keep up to date with his crazy adventures, it also means the firefox add on I was using that was created no longer serves up the smilies.

Change the extension of .XPI to .ZIP, then unzip.

When you download the extension, you'll have a .XPI file. Rename it to .ZIP and extract.

Yes, I got that. But that doesn't tell me anything about the working of the plugin, and how it can be altered.

It consists of a bunch of text files, XML and javascript. You'll figure it out once you have look at them.

Once you extract it there should be chrome directory. Inside there will either be some more directories or a .jar file. The .jar file is just another ZIP file so do the same as you did before. Inside the content directory will be some xul and js files. Your best bet is one of the js files but I'm not 100% without looking at the extension. Pretty sure it'll be in there.

Anyways, I'm sure vbcode's site is very reliable, but wouldn't the safest place to host the images be vbf? i.e. attach them in the images support forum. Asuming the admins will tolerate it, which I expect they will.

We've actually suggested it before - as that is the kind of thing that the Support Images forum is for.

    I mean the VBF plug-in.
I tried it but Firefox is acting strange in my computer, I think it is our proxy server have problem. That is why I prefer using IE7.

Do you have any version of VBF plugin for IE7( or even IE6, I am willing to downgrade)?
