    New Motherboard, Same Processor

Well awhile back one of my computers I put together stopped working. The power would come on and all the LEDs would light up, but nothing would come up on the screen and got no beeps or anything. After some research I came to the conclusion that I needed to replace my motherboard. Well I have a new mobo and until I can afford a new processor I plan to use my old AMD 1g Duron and heatsink with the new mobo. The main question I can't seem to find an answer too is do I need to reapply the thermal compound (arctic silver) to the heatsink/cpu when I remove it from the old mobo? Any help is greatly appreciated.

No, as long as it is still attached to the processor, it's fine.
I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)
