Ask Dr. Dis
Got a question? Any question at all? Just ask Dr. Dis!
Sample question:
"Why does 'Mystery" start with an 'M'?"
Anwer:
Because otherwise it would be "ystery", which sounds like "hystery", which would constantly with the school subject "History".

I will take that "suck" and interpret it as the action, "to suck", in which you create a vacuem which pulls a substance (usually a liquid) into the mouth.
I suck because if I didn't, I would not beable to drink caffinated drinks as effienctly, and then die.

The sky is blue due to the way the sun's rays are broken up as they hit our atmosphere. <skip some steps> Because blue has the longest wavelength in the spectrum it masks the other colors, thus making the sky blue.
Mendhak's BO is so bad because of "The Taos Hum"

Fireflies don't exist on the west coast, so please use proper references so any U.S. citizen can know what you're saying

Ok... how about this. If I throw a spoon at a fence while standing on one foot and singing childrens songs during the equinox that falls on a tuesday will I be able to travel through time? The back to the future way, not the various other star trek ways.

Yes, but only if it were a chain-link fence because the "Back to the Future" way requires a large bolt of lightning. Also it would greatly help to try between 2:00 A.M. and 2:03 A.M. nine days ago. Of course, the Start Trek way would've worked 2 days ago, but your loss.

Actually twice, the other time was before time, thus you could travel from it but not to it.

No, it works, you can have objects existing without time, as long as everything moves at the speed of light.

But at the speed of light time stops, therefore there is also no time. Either way it is irrelevant as you said.

The speed of light in vacuum is exactly 299,792,458 m/s (metres per second).
and hey the speed of light depends on the material that the light moves through.

Why do they bother putting nutrion labels on a bottle of water?

Because bottled water is not pure water, and thus not pure H20 (pretend that '2' is a subscript). Because of this there are other things (hereafter referred to as "stuff") in the water. This "stuff" is why the FDA requires the nutrition labels which in the end just raise the price we pay for bottled water!

The prefix -in in inflammable is not, however, the Latin negative prefix -in, which is related to the English -un and appears in such words as indecent and inglorious. Rather, this -in is an intensive prefix derived from the Latin preposition in. This prefix also appears in the word enflame.
Stop with the easy questions eh?
