    No license...huh!?

    When I try to use a winsock component it says "License information for this component not found. You do not have the appropriate license to use this functionality in the design environment."

    Is the winsock function a part of a servicepack or something because I did not get it that way. Perhaps that is the problem?

    Did the winsock come with your VB package? if not, you need to buy a bigger package(Pro, Ent.)

    You probably have the Learning or Control Creation edition.
