Control Button in Access quit working and I have no idea how to fix

I have been given a DB that was created in a previous version of Access(97). The DB has been converted to Access 2000 and has worked without issue.

This DB has many forms and they have been working properly for quite sometime.

The other day one of the forms developed a problem. There is a command button that is designed to save the fields on the form in to a table and then exit the form.

This does not happen anymore. I click on the button and nothing happens.

I am not familiar with VB at all. I have looked at the code and have determined it is written in DAO. I have followed the code and it appears to be written correctly, to the best of my knowledge.

I can post the code for the button if someone desires to see it.

What would cause the button to stop working? I get no error message when I hit the button, it just sits there.

Any help is appreciated. This project can be the piece I need to get hired perm, but I am stuck.

    Thanks
    Mike

Mike check your references and make sure that DAO is checked and not marked as missing. I am not sure why it happens but every now and then Access seems to lose a reference or two.

You can do that by opening a module or creating a new one and then going to the Tools > References in the Menu system.

Preferences are already set to DAO

Thanks for the advice Buk. I checked and DAO is checked in the preferences.

I have attached a txt file that has the code for the button.
