Calculating Disk Geometry
Hi all!
I am installing FreeBSD on my computer and to install it I need to calculate my disk geometry. I found some simple instructions but unfourtunatly I suck at maths Could someone smarter or older please calculate it for me?
This will tell you how: http://www.vmware.com/support/refere...fbsd_scsi.html
On installing freebsd I get the message "cyls/255 heads/63 sections/4291877205"
Thanks! Sorry if this should be in the General PC board - I wasnt sure which one to use.
