    Weekday returns wrong result

    Hello!

    I have attached a screenshot. It shows my Windows calendar on the bottom right and my VB6 code on the left.

    VB6 says that the 1st of October 2019 is a vbMonday (2). But it should in fact...

    Re: What is the first day of the week?

    I found a solution in C++:

    int GetSystemStartDayOfWeek()
    {
    int ret;
    DWORD StartDayOfWeek;

    ret = GetLocaleInfoEx(LOCALE_NAME_USER_DEFAULT,

    Re: What is the first day of the week?

    Do you know what I mean? The argument "vbUseSystemDayOfWeek" causes the function to look internally what the first day of the week is in the system.
    I would also like to know about this.

    How...

    What is the first day of the week?

    Hello!

    I would like to find out what is set up as the "First Day of the Week" for a certain Windows system.

    I think when I pass vbUseSystemDayOfWeek to Weekday(), VB gets this setting somehow....

    Unfortunately the same problem occurs with Firefox. So it's browser independent, but it seems to happen if the google collection bar appears.
  13. Re: [vb6]Alpha Image Control (PNG, AniGIFs, TIFF, & more)

    I just noticed that the control has got its final update.
    Also, it works perfectly fine with Firefox, so I guess it's a problem with how Chrome handles this image dragging... it shows this...
  14. Re: [vb6]Alpha Image Control (PNG, AniGIFs, TIFF, & more)

    I love this control very much! I use it to drag pictures from Chrome to VB6.
    It works great.

    However, there is a situation where VB6 can hang.

    Do you think you could have a look, please?

    Hello!

    I need to re-create one of my apps in VB.NET.

    In my original VB6 code I use Olaf Schmidt's great dhRichClient SQLite.

    Olaf's version has a great collation named "LATIN_NOCASE".

    No, it doesn't. The eye tracker just produces the gaze data. I am responsible for moving the mouse pointer.

    Re: Form Key Events trapped twice each ???

    I found the solution:

    This seems to be an old windows forms bug:

    KeyCode=0

    handles that.

    The .NET equivalent would be: e.Handled = true
  24. Re: Does anybody have vbAccelerator's Clipboard classes archived?

    @wqweto

    Is this correct?

    ' Now set the clipboard data:
    If (SetClipboardData(lFormatId, hMem) <> 0) Then
    ' Success:
    SetBinaryData = True
    Else

    I'm not sure what you mean by "magnetic card", but I experience the same, too.
    When I press F11 in a large project with KeyPreview on, the same KeyUp event is raised 2 times directly after another.

    Re: Specifying time-out for objects?

    No. Before "var" become popular, I used "n" to indicate to myself that a variable would only be used within a sub or a function.
