    Re: Error 75: Path/File Access Error

    Maybe you could use two loops. One to save the files and another to print them. Then they would always be there.
  2. VS 2012 Re: Translate text with Google Translation and VB .NET

    Sometimes, like in SQL, you make a single tick mark by using two tick marks in a row. Try we''re. Those are two single ticks...not a double quote.
  3. VS 2012 Re: Translate text with Google Translation and VB .NET

    Maybe that tick mark in "we're" is some kind of escape character. Start simple...try: "It was a dark and stormy night".

    Re: How i generate unique id ?

    You didn't mention what database you are using but in MS SQL you may be able to use:

    select newid()

    It generates something like this:

  10. Re: Why isn't VB.Net an option in the Stack Overflow Developer Survey?

    I guess that is what I was trying to say in my own inarticulate way. People whined about COBOL going away, the mainframe going away, a handful of nice languages that didn't survive, VB 6.0 (there...
  11. Re: Why isn't VB.Net an option in the Stack Overflow Developer Survey?

    I was being sarcastic...I've been programming for over thirty years and people seem to want to have a revolt when there favorite language goes by the wayside. There seems to be a number of recent...

    Sigh...
  13. Re: SQL Server not increasing by 1 but by 100

    Crashing aside under normal circumstances MS SQL will not reuse identity columns. Here is a little test you can run:

    create table #TestIt(MyIdentity int identity(1,1),MyColumn Varchar(5))
