  1. Re: how to let .exe into Hibernate and wake 1.exe

To my knowledge most virtual machines can be suspended.
So start your application in a virtual machine like vmware and when needed pause the vm and restart when needed
  2. Re: how to let .exe into Hibernate and wake 1.exe

Do you want to hibernate a single application?
If not can you please rephrase your question...

    Re: Sorting a DATE Array

The first sort the original data on the birthday field, then fill the grid.
While filling the grid you can format the date fields to whatever you like.

Compared to other north/west countries in Europe, the Germans seem to be very attached to their physical money.
I hardly ever have any cash with me, only cards and smartphone (with Apple pay).

  15. Re: How do I get a screenshot of an entire Form, not just what is visible in the wind

To cut it short, VB6 doesn't have a scrollable view port on a form, hence the questions what kind of (viewport) control was used.

  17. Re: VB6 program generates 3706 Provider error with 64-bit Office 365

To debug your application you really need VB6, the .Net versions of VS won't work.

If you don't use any Office Automation then it should work with ADODB.

    Re: Detect power outage

I don't think a server is running on it's own battery like a laptop does.
To the server the UPS is "just" the power supply.
Thus indeed you need to get a signal from the UPS itself.

    Re: Timer function without decimals

    Multiply it by 100.

What is your goal Gain some speed?
  27. Re: Passing 2 dimensional array as one dimensional to a function/sub?

    Simple answer, no you can't
    Just pass the complete array.
There is no overhead because the pointer of the array is passed.
  28. Re: How to determine the number of rows, columns, and size

    Isn't it as simple as:
    Size square = Sqrt((Width * Height) / #Squares)
Rows = Height / Size square
Columns = Width / Size square

  39. Re: At Runtime this happens. ActiveX disappears from the Me.Form.hWnd

    That sounds impressive.
I assume you mean a Desktop Shell replacement and not a real OS, because you can't write an OS in VB6.
