    Re: [RESOLVED] Unknown Database Format

I'm amazed it is still in action, because of the age, it is probably only 16bit or less. I wish my clients would of let me use a emulator, I could of keep programming in Clipper till the day I...

  3. VS 2010 Re: Transfer data to DB once processes are complete

You don't assign a database to a DataGridView, I don't see anything about a DataGridView in the code you posted but maybe I missed it because that quite a bit of code. I also don't know what this...
  4. VS 2017 Re: ListView with many SubItems is extremely slow

To be honest, I don't think having 400 columns in a ListView or DataGridView is a good idea. That just seems like to much to make the user search through. If possible I'd filter the columns to suit...

Re: Hamilton 5x World Champion ?

    si,

I disagree, there was no need to put Bottas on the same compound tire which forced a two stop race. Really I think Hamilton should have been the one to come in first, to cover the Ferrari...

Don't know anything about how German TV works. Nascar does have an app that shows the races but I believe it costs. Never checked it out. Go to hteir web site, NASCAR.Com.

Poor Bottas, Mercedes always seems to give him the worst choices when it comes to pit strategy. There was no need to commit him to a two stop race. Mercedes really has turned him into Hamiltons...

  16. Re: Code Logic problem using group boxes, text boxes and check boxes

Also, you shouldn't do math with TextBoxes. TextBox1.Text is a String, you should convert that String to a numeric datatype before you do the math,

  22. Re: OLEDB Dataadaptor not updating on first request

If the Adapter really does return 0 every time and the system isn't broken then the only other thing I can think of is that the database is being updated somewhere else in the code.
  23. Re: OLEDB Dataadaptor not updating on first request

I don't see how that's possible. I'm stumped, good luck.
  24. Re: OLEDB Dataadaptor not updating on first request

Have you checked the return value from "da_sale.Update(ds_sale, "Sales")"? If so, what happens each time?
  25. Re: OLEDB Dataadaptor not updating on first request

  34. Re: [RESOLVED] VS 2017 getting date error conversation why?

    MyStr =...
  35. Re: [RESOLVED] VS 2017 getting date error conversation why?

Inferrd, Good catch. Damn case sensitive things!!!

salsa, You could also use the DatePart function in you SQL.
  36. Re: VS 2017 getting date error conversation why?

Ok, I've done a test and you can't use CDate on a month-year value. You need a valid date mm-dd-yyyy.

Sorry I'm wrong, it's the Format(someDate,"mm-yyyy") that's returning the bad value.

    Try...
  37. Re: VS 2017 getting date error conversation why?

Have you check the data in the database to make sure you have valid data.
  38. Re: VS 2017 getting date error conversation why?

Why are you getting 41-2018? How would I know? But you are telling your SQL to format it like this Format([DatePayRishum],'mm-yyyy'). Why it is returning a 41, I have no idea. Look at your data.
  39. Re: VS 2017 getting date error conversation why?

    Because "41-2018" isn't a valid date.
