    I suspect your long code, which sets different colors for different columns and the moving currentrow
    It might be possible to improve it, but without seeing it there's not much i can do...

    But, setting the column type as string is unnecessary. The default type is String...

    [datatable].Columns.Add("columnName")

    creates a Type String column
