  15. Re: Getting actual caret position of a textbox that does NOT have the focus

Well EM_GetSel does return the 'SelStart' and 'SelEnd' (hi/low word of the function return value), but in the lParam it only returns 'SelEnd', but you're right, in the end EM_GetSel returns the same...
  16. Re: Getting actual caret position of a textbox that does NOT have the focus

hehe, yes, that's what I was running into, if you select stuff from back to front, the SelStart and SelLength aren't going to help you, and only when the textbox has the focus GetCaretPos will work,...

  18. Re: CommonControls (Replacement of the MS common controls)

  23. Re: crash on inet.GetChunk (on one particular machine)

No, it's GetChunk that really crashes, it's a crash that 'On Error goto' cannot trap.. So there is no return value as the command itself is the culprit.. but thanx for suggesting..
  24. Re: crash on inet.GetChunk (on one particular machine)

  26. Re: CommonControls (Replacement of the MS common controls)

Are you sure the problem isn't with the older RC.exe maybe not supporting 32-bit icons? try loading a 32bit icon as a form icon and you also get an error in VB. Just like the later windows don't...

Re: VB Classic (A True VB 7.0)

  35. Re: Windows 7 64-bit -- Library Not Registered problem
