Re: Generating ordered 7 digit numbers

Aaah! Very clever! How I didn't think that? You are building the number instead of attempting each to check. Very very clever!

EDIT: And It's more than 60x faster any of our codes :D

I made Shaggy's code work with a little touch. Use it, it's 1.5x faster.

Re: Generating ordered 7 digit numbers

    For i = 1000000 To 10000000
    If Not System.Text.RegularExpressions.Regex.IsMatch(i.ToString, "(.)\1{3}") Then
    'Do your stuff
    End If
    Next
BTW, it's shorter but nearly 2 times slower...
  10. Re: Addressing a series of textboxes in a loop?

Yeah, Shaggy Hiker is right. With his correction:

Dim str As String = "ABCDEFGHIJKLMN"
    For i As Integer = 2 To 15
    DirectCast(Me.Controls("Textbox" & i), TextBox).Text =...
  11. Re: Addressing a series of textboxes in a loop?

There are two ways to achieve this. One way is addressing the real control names:

Dim str As String = "ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ"
    For i As Integer = 1 To 15 'Assuming having 15 TextBoxes...
  12. VS 2010 Re: How I can get the href and src This a HTML- Webbrowser

    Hi from Istanbul :)
As you know, an index starts from 0 in VB nearly for all cases. So 0 index means 1st item.

I am not sure about the syntax but the logic should be:

    Dim s1 as String = row.Value & " " &...

  31. VS 2013 Re: Hide an application TaskBar icon (not tray) but still show the window

Well, actually this makes notepad to be removed from Taskbar. Wierd... It doesn't remove the installer wizard. As long as the code is working, I am marking the thread as resolved.
