    Re: Listbox - Replace String

    You could use Replace but then what happens if the folder name has ".png" or ".exe" in it?

    VS 2013 Re: Controls misplaced outside IDE

    You do the same thing you did over here, except to terminate s process replace p.CloseMainWindow() with p.Kill() , and of course change the string to "photo" or whatever.
  12. VS 2013 Re: Hide an application TaskBar icon (not tray) but still show the window

  13. VS 2013 Re: Hide an application TaskBar icon (not tray) but still show the window

    Sorry, only tested on Win7 here.

    Wouldn't setting the parent of the exe to your own form, or panel on your form remove it from windows taskbar? Why not do that?
  14. VS 2013 Re: Hide an application TaskBar icon (not tray) but still show the window

    Somewhere on MSDN I read awhile back that to hide an app from taskbar you must first hide the window, then change the style, then show the window.

  15. VS 2013 Re: Hide an application TaskBar icon (not tray) but still show the window

    I doubt the window is closing, using code like this,

    SetParent(hwnd, New Form().Handle)

    is changing the process's parent to a new form that you can't see, why would you do that?
